Please pull from the doc branch at:
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/leo/chinese.git doc
to receive the following updates to in-tree Chinese documents
and to add newly translated guideline documents.
I'm not posting the actual patches here, as they are only strange
characters to most of the subscribers here. They have been reviewed
thoroughly in linux-kernel@zh-kernel.org mail list, which is a
local Linux kernel development mail list with hundreds of active
Chinese Linux developers and enthusiasts. If you are interested
in the content of these patches, please visit gitweb at:

Hi Li Yang.
In another thread we have discussed localized versions of Kconfig
files facilitating po files.
Will the community you represent here see any advantage in that and
would be interested to contribute?
What is generally seen as a showstopper is the amount of work needed
to do the translation - and keeping it up-to-date.
If lkml actually accept .po files in the kernel is not yet setteled
but no matter I would like kconfig to be extended to support it.
For this work help is needed too.
It is a pick-up of the Linux Kernel Translation project
(http://tlktp.sourceforge.net/) where several kconfig patches exists.

AFAIK, a guy here had started to translate the Kconfig directly.
Changing to use po file should be a better approach.

Sure. The key is to have more participants to involve. The work can't
be done without a large contributor base.

More people will be interested to participate by accepting .po files in
the kernel.

I already got positive feedback from Bryan Wu and WANG Cong so a Chinese
translation is well within reach if we get the infrastructure adapted so
we have better .po files support.
I will not have time to look into this until later so help is needed here too.

Thanks.
As Leo said, we can host this project in zh-kernel.org and invite some
Chinese developers to boost up the translation.
WANG Cong is good to maintain this, -:))

Yes, I would like to do that work. Thank you.
And I will also find some guys here to help me to do this. Please
feel free to Cc me if you have any suggestions.
Regards.
