Subject: [PATCH v14 10/17] counter: Add character device interface
Date: Tue, 3 Aug 2021 21:06:20 +0900	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <2c51fa594245c3396400617caa686b8bf0887d16.1627990337.git.vilhelm.gray@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <cover.1627990337.git.vilhelm.gray@gmail.com>

This patch introduces a character device interface for the Counter
subsystem. Device data is exposed through standard character device read
operations. Device data is gathered when a Counter event is pushed by
the respective Counter device driver. Configuration is handled via ioctl
operations on the respective Counter character device node.
