I too have been bitten by this same problem but under kernel
2.4.27-pre3. ASUS A7N8X-Deluxe notherboard with 3112 controller.
Kernel is 2.4.27-pre3 with kraxel bttv patches (patch for 2.4.26 applied
cleanly with only some line shifts to 2.4.27-pre3).

The system soon locked hard after the error occured. I was in the
process of investigating how to reset the RAID partition when the system
locked up hard. A thing to note is it looks like both drives in the
RAID locked up rather than just one or am I reading the error messages
wrong? I'll be out for the next few days so I won't be able to reply
for a few days but will when I get back.
