Depending on what kind of ADC and what you want to do with it,
anything from a simple char device to an ALSA driver could be
appropriate.  Can you provide more information?

AD7994 4 Channel, 12-Bit ADC with I2C Compatible Interface in 16-Lead TSSOP, 


I think it could be I2C driver
