I changed it into:

It is a boolean, so now I've updated with this:

if (ctrl_reg & M41TXX_BIT_FT)
	return scnprintf(buf, PAGE_SIZE, "on\n");
else
	return scnprintf(buf, PAGE_SIZE, "off\n");
