Thanks for your patch!

BTW, I assume GPIO interrupt handling needs another block on top,
like on RZ/A using renesas,rza1-irqc?

Do you want pin control for RZ/G2L to be optional (like RZ/A and RZ/N),
or mandatory (like R-Car and RZ/G2[HMNE])?
With the above, it is optional.

Can't the "& ~GENMASK(28, 0)" be dropped?

I think you can just use a single "u32 reg" for all register
manipulation.

You can combine the two identical tests, and get rid of the 3/4 difference,
at the expense of 2 more lines:

    addr = pctrl->base + IEN(port);
    if (bit >= 4) {
            bit -= 4;
            addr += 4;
    }

EOPNOTSUPP

(Checkpatch doesn't like this one, as it's only for NFSv3, apparently)

Same here as above.

I would put all PIN_CFG_* on a single line, for easier review. I.e.

when I'm talking to journalists I just say "programmer" or something like that.

In personal conversations with technical people, I call myself a hacker. But
when I'm talking to journalists I just say "programmer" or something like that.
